Short description of the Institution:
The Issa Institute for Advanced Studies in Human Flourishing seeks to “talk seriously about serious things” through engaging cross-disciplinary conversations oriented towards human flourishing for social and institutional impact. These dialogically plural conversations seek to discern truth, goodness, and beauty in order to cultivate what it means for human beings to flourish together in an unjust world. The Institute has three main tasks: Research, Public Engagement, and Leader Development.
